Who's to blame? Rosberg or Hamilton?

Alex Adams: Lewis was hotheaded but was pushed off on the opposite side to the racing line showing Rosberg was also too aggressive.

Andrew Robinson: Rosberg left no space forcing Hamilton on to the grass cos Hamilton had the run sorry but Nico's fault.

Daniel Woodley: Outrageous comments by Niki Lauda! To blame Lewis Hamilton immediately for that will not help team morale!

Niki Lauda, non-executive chairman of Mercedes, blames Lewis Hamilton for the incident that wiped the Brit and team-mate Nico Rosberg out of the Spanish Grand Prix.

"It is stupid, we could've won this race," Lauda tells BBC Radio 5 live. "Lewis is too aggressive. I need to talk to them and hear their explanation and then we will see what happens."

70% Rosberg, 30% Hamilton for me

Whoever was at fault it's screwed up my predictions.:mad:

Great shot of the two stricken Mercedes. Wonder if the two even managed to look at each other when they got out of their cars.

This is what it would look like without any Mercedes. I just love this, this is the purest race. If any driver makes the smallest of errors it will give someone else an opportunity but Daniel Ricciardo has not done anything wrong yet.

Rosberg 100%
Too late to protect his line. Too slow by harvesting energy when he should have been racing. Hamilton had every right to retake the lead as quickly as he could (maybe not the best race strategy after losing the lead so early but that's racing) and Rosberg should have expected the move. Hamilton had is front wheels by the rear wheels of Rosberg and was much quicker. Rosberg took his team mate out as well as himself. Mercedes will not be happy. Rosberg's fault after thinking he had done enough by taking the lead. He didn't own it and then he screwed up. It could have been a whole lot worse. I bet it's "I didn't see him guv" at the enquiry and I bet Mercedes let him use that excuse.

"Mercedes say Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg are not going to speak (to the media) until after a decision has been made by the race stewards. That meeting is expected for 4.30, 3.30pm in Britain.

Jenson Button is not too happy with someone in his way.

"Get the car out the way. I know he thinks he is quick but he is not," says Button, who is currently 10th.

'Surreal for Raikkonen'

"This is probably a very surreal moment for Kimi Raikkonen as he would have raced Max Verstappen's father Jos, and now here he is racing his son."

Don't want to blow my own trumpet...but told you so..:D

MAX VERSTAPPEN WINS THE SPANISH GRAND PRIX!!

On reflection and post Sky F1 Pad review, Rosberg 100% made a hash of it

Good race though and we'll done young Max .

And for the first time in Formula 1 history, the Dutch national anthem plays out.

What a moment.

Tony Ross: Feel sorry for Riccardo. Wrong strategy from team, like Webber before him, he is now No2 driver for Red Bull.

Sarah Huckle: One thing that hasn't been said today is how safe F1 is now and lucky both of them (Hamilton and Rosberg) walked away unhurt.

Kevin Allen: Drivers of the day Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg for giving us the best Grand Prix of the year.

In just the onc race, Max Verstappen has amassed more points than his father did in his entire F1 career. Jos got 17 points, while Max is now on 87 after scooping up 25 today.

Kimi Raikkonen's second place means he moves up to second in the drivers' standings. Max Verstappen is sixth after his win.

It's as you were between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton, with 43 points separating the two.

The TOP DOG for Spain is…
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya delivered a stunning Spanish Grand Prix.

After Rosberg and Hamilton collided on the opening lap, the Red Bulls and the Ferrari duo fought over who would take the first non-Mercedes victory since September 2015.

Max Verstappen prevailed, winning on his Red Bull Racing debut, not only becoming the first Dutch Grand Prix winner, but also the youngest ever driver to lead a lap, score a podium and clinch a Grand Prix victory. Without a doubt, he’s our TOP DOG!
