Lewis Hamilton his fifth British Grand Prix pole position, equalling the 50-year-old record held by fellow Briton Jim Clark.

Just watched GP2, these cars are bullet proof.
The car in the lead started to smoke and chuck out oil and then he boxed and they just changed his wheels and sent him back out again.....o_O
A short while later, one of his wing mirrors fell off but he carried on to win the race....!!
 
Hamilton closes on Schumacher record

Hamilton's 67th pole position takes him to the brink of tying with Michael Schumacher for the all-time record.

Schumacher claimed his 68th and final pole at the 2006 French Grand Prix.

Bias aside a great race and very entertaining. Great wheel to wheel stuff and overtaking. Great result for the Championship. Ricardo my driver of the day.
