F1 Zorg & Badger GP Fantasy Grand Prix 2016

I agree that team orders should be stopped, but they are not,so we are ware we are.
I still believe he who pays the piper calls the tune.
This was not about winning it was about stopping his employer obtaining 1 and 2. As I say absolutely nothing to stop him starting his own team , then all the calls are up to him. Do you not consider the company that puts the money has any right to have a say in what his employees do.

This is called racing, not working down the local supermarket.
Anyway, team orders should be totally banned as should radio contact, even though I do like hearing it though.

Merc already had the constructors trophy, this race was just all about the drivers.
Agree - Its Hamilton that has the racing licence not the team. When two drivers in the same team have the chance of a championship, no amount of team orders are going to have any effect. Rosberg had every chance of catching and overtaking but he refused to do it. He was constantly balancing off the risk of an overtake against the relative safety of second place. He almost came unstuck.

Much of what you hear on the radios is solely for the tv audience. Most of what you hear is blatantly obvious to the drivers. What should be banned is the support and advice on settings and options. Don't have a problem them having them available, but have some engineer monitoring telemetry and lap times some 4,000 miles away telling them which button to press isn't racing - Let the driver make the choice and make the mistakes or take the glory.

Nico Rosberg's title is the 12th won by a German. He joins 17 other drivers - including James Hunt., Nigel Mansell, Jenson Button and Kimi Raikkonen - on one world title.

And that would actually be the team sponsors who are in it for one thing.....publicity, airtime, column inches...so you could say that Hamilton has given them exactly what they want by giving the media something to talk about other than a fairly predictable race result and championship win for Rosberg! ;)

Could you do me a favor @Gail and post up the BGP stats when they become available as my machine has thrown a wobbler and refuses to do a screen shot and a copy and paste looks so naff....

A simple solution to all this team orders malarkey is to run two or three car teams with individual title sponsors, like NASCAR etc. This way you fight for every pole position, win etc. For your sponsor.

Will do but it probably won't be till after I get to work tomorrow.

Comments I agree with......

Chamath De Silva: Don't know why people are getting annoyed at Hamilton. Senna and Schumacher both did the same, if not, worse.

Andrew Thatcher: Wouldn't it have just been easier for Rosberg to just overtake if he was that bothered.

Olly Willans: Doing anything to win is driving your competitor off the track. Lewis just backed him up a bit. Fair competitor.

Graham Smith: Gutted for Lewis, did everything he needed to but couldn't quite get it. Shame on everyone dissing him! It was exciting!

Dr Malcolm Harvey: Paddy Lowe trying to justify radio messages to Lewis to speed up is like a political spin doctor at work. That was brilliant racing.

Third-placed Sebastian Vettel: "It was tough out there in the last couple of laps - I didn't want to be in Nico's shoes. My tyres were going off as well.

"Once I was in clean air I could unleash the pace in the car today. It feels great to finish on the podium today.

"It's been a tough year but it's great to finish on a high."

It looks like they haven't officially confirmed the final results yet but this is how it's looking at the moment.

My winning total puts me in 408th place out of 7339 :D

If I had not got pished a couple of times, I would have been top dog....;)
I like to think of those occasions as 'Technical Issues'.....:D

There's some proper racing driver excuses coming out here =))

Here you are @hard top I started the season with Vettel and a Ferrari but swapped them for Max and the Red Bull after a couple of races. I had Rosberg for the first half of the season but then swapped him for Lewis. The 3rd driver and team were whatever I could still afford after my main picks.

How long have you got?
Grounds for appeal? Other teams wheels too round? =))
I need one day before the start of the new season so that I can be crowned champion for at least a day, rounder wheels is a good start ;)
