F1 Zorg & Badger GP 2015 Season

Not many people would've seen that one coming Mike.

Tony.

Yep, messed me up as well. :(

How Canadian GP practice unfolded

Summary

    • Hamilton quickest in rain-curtailed second practice
    • Hamilton triggers red flag after aquaplaning off
    • Ferraris of Vettel & Raikkonen P2 & P3; Rosberg P4
    • Hamilton fastest in first practice

That was actually a very strange and alarming incident for Hamilton.
He was on the brakes for a long, long time before he reached the corner, but with the car floating on the surface of the water the Briton was just a passenger.
He was only on the intermediate tyres. Whether or not that had any bearing on the incident we will likely discover later.

"Aquaplaned," is Hamilton's one-word message on the radio.

Badger GP

The Canadian Grand Prix happened. Lewis Hamilton won it and I would be surprised if the highlights show is more than 15minutes long.

To summarise, Kimi fell asleep at one point and had a little spin, a beaver/gopher type creature narrowly avoided becoming roadkill, Massa and Vettel both came through the field, a Toro Rosso overtook a Red Bull and Alonso had the second best team radio after Will Stevens.

Formula 1 itself isn't boring, but the Canadian Grand Prix wasn't exactly a thriller.

What do you think?

Said it all for me Mike, watched it at our Gary's and re watched when I got home, it hadn't improved though.:(

Tony.

Did not think it was to bad Tony, some good scraps at the back and they did not keep the cameras on car 1 & 2 all the time.

they did not keep the cameras on car 1 & 2 all the time.
This was a bonus Mike, I was hoping for a better showing from Vettel to be honest and it's a shame Kimi messed up.

Tony.

I just changed out Max for the Ice Man last Friday evening, so at least I got some points.......

Good call.

Tony ps. Plato won the 1st BTCC I didn't get to see the others.

It really doesn't seem to matter which car you put Plato in he can win with it, one thing that you couldn't accuse M.Neale of ( driven for Honda), for Vauxhall while driving for Honda ( by ruining Plato's chances in the last race of the season - To55er), then for Vauxhall, oh, and then Honda. In case you hadn't guessed I don't rate him at all. As a Driver or a man.

Tony.

Hamilton spins out!
Posted at14:00

Amazing scenes, we've just seen Lewis Hamilton parked up on the final lap.

He lost it in a big way into turn one, the car spinning away violently as he looked to turn in.

We've seen a lot of mistakes at turn one this weekend but nothing as dramatic as that.

Rosberg loses it too!
Posted at14:01

Rosberg looked set to profit from Hamilton's mistake, having gone faster in sector two on his final lap, but the German agonisingly loses it into the final turn.

He runs wide in eight and locks up, careering straight on into nine.

He gets out the car, furious with himself, and slaps his hands together in frustration.
