What have you bought for your Zed this week?

Another school day 😁
Bmw are cheapskates when it comes to some stuff.
Rather than re mould the rear headlight casing easier to just blank it and leave the rest so under the blank is the fitment to put in bulbholder and here's a picture of a zed reflector out of lamp you'll see main beam has hole in for sidelight to project through.
You'll see it if you shine a torch in to your main beam from front of car.

I modified the lights in my front bumper by adding turn signal lights back when I had my Z3.

Stephen.

You can fit a sidelight bulb holder in those dead easy, just find a rubber grommet which fits the hole and has a hole to fit a 501 bulb holder.

Great news Ant but...only 1865 miles.....in a year.....
Although better than last years effort - only 637 miles then. ;)
;)
I know, I know…I hang my head in shame😁. To be fair, last year it did spend quite a lot of time either in pieces or up on the ramp at the zedshed. Now that it’s sorted I do intend to use it a lot more this year…roll on spring

But the 500ml bottle isn't good value. You should get the 5ltr can.
Here's a tutorial for those that don't know how to change their indicator fluid (Americans call them blinkers so all's good) . BMW's get a particular shout out however nowadays as most BMW owner know how to do this so I think its more applicable to Range Rover drivers .... because they are just too lazy to changer their indicator fluid, How to Replace Blinker Fluid

I actually got stopped by a jobsworth copper once for not using my indicators, he then proceeded to drive off and go around the roundabout etc without using his indicators

I had to park outside our local post office many years back while the boss nipped in to tax a couple of the company cars, while he was in there another of them jobsworth plod pulle up behind me and told me to go park elsewhere, I tried to explain that the boss was in there etc (pre mobile phone days) but had to go because tw@ in uniform says so. Blow me down if he doesn't head into the bakers a couple of doors along and come out with a big bag of (obviously vital and official) sandwiches and rolls. Managed to beat him back to the station and have a chat about the "one law for you, another for me" chap with the bloke on the front desk. Won't have made any difference, but made me marginally happier.
Still, they're not the only ones around who are above the law, eh? Yes, boris, I do mean you.

So, what are they made of again? Oh yeah, 'kinchrome. New one on me.
Its just a brand name down here in the antipodes, Usually good quality. But still probably Chinese... But I,m guessing its some sort of metal, as opposed to the stuff made of cheese, you normally get from there..=))
