Serious buyer looking for a well-kept manual 2.8 Orinoco or similar Individual Z3. Funds ready. Prefer original cars with history. Happy to travel for the right example.

Hi hope you find what you are looking for a lot of Orinoco are 1.9 took me ages to lay my hands on a 2.8 they do appear here and there though.
Stephen.

Thanks. I lost out on a 2.8 yesterday that was listed on Autotrader. I’m absolutely gutted.

Thats a shame :(
Was a couple for sale a few months ago you'll just need to keep on the lookout one will turnup.
Stephen.

That looks like a great car for the money. Plenty of extras also (inc aircon. heated seats).
Enjoy!

Yes, I believe most Orinoco Individual Editions had heated seats / AC. Feeling so lucky to get it at that price.

Now to remove the awful lowering springs put on by the previous owner... 🤔

Nice .

Someone sent me link for that car was going to get in touch with you about it

Looks decent bar the stupidly low suspension handling may be sharp but ride will be rubbish.

Stephen.

Yeah. I'm booked in with Redish Motorsport to get the car back to OEM spec. Anyone used them before?

I haven't been able to get the roof working. There was something in the service history around water ingress through the antenna grommet and I understand that is where the hydraulic pump is for the electrics so it may be the motor is fried, but that's worst case.

Also the "AC isn't very cold" is "AC isn't working".

On a positive note, very clean underneath! Just those few niggles to sort out.

AC might be struggling due to current heat outdoors!. Mine good in 20 25c weather above that it's struggling but ok ish.

Watch the alarm in the bottom left rear wheel arch, water damages it and that I think enters from the Gromit or rear 3rd break light.

I'm sure it would be struggling! But unfortunately the A/C compressor doesn’t even kick in. The light turns blue, though, and I had Halfords check all the fuses for me, so I'm not sure what's up with it.

Noted on the left wheel arch. I have seen a previous service invoice for water ingress around the radio antenna. They replaced the grommet, but there’s nothing in the history about repairing the hood motor.

So I await my appointment with Redish in September....
