Will you have it long enough for another wash? ;)
I nearly committed to having it ceramic coated with a local detailing firm today but I've agreed to look at an E86 on Friday so thought it best to hold off for the moment ;)

Not the most exciting and certainly not the cheapest but I've always been more than happy with the quality and fit of the OEM floor mats.

So on that basis I removed the after market mats this morning and replaced them with OEM replacements that I ordered online from BMW Park Lane

I just painted my wheel bolts silver, but I do have BMW tipped valve caps.:)
The valve caps on mine had the BMW logo on when I collected it but they were orange metal. As soon as I got home I chucked them in the bin remembering a nightmare I once had trying to remove metal valve caps from a Z3 3.0 I once collected from Inverness. Suffice to say they weren't the only part of the car exhibiting significant signs of rust šŸ™ˆ

One hour labour to carry out a service and bleed fresh fluid through all four calipers? - or did they just swap the fluid in the reservoir only which is a bit pointless?

I've no reason to doubt him - he's been looking after my cars for over 10 years.

On this occasion I dropped the car off on Monday morning and picked it up today and I've just realised he hasn't included the MOT test fee on the invoice 😮

Spot on - not sure if you saw it but that 40 year old camper on the ramp is his. He's just fabricated and fitted a complete rear chassis frame because the original one was toast.

He's an ex SAABtec and knows his way round most things automotive - in fact it's probably safe to say I wouldn't have owned half the Zed's I've had if it wasn't for him.

Hang on thats still 17 so let me rephrase that - I would never have bought my first Zed (the Z4MC) if it wasn't for him. So actually it's all his fault 🤣

I remember him buying the tooling to carry out the Insp II on the ///M coupe and doing the valve clearances on the S54. He also fitted me a set of BC racing coilivers and even committed to replacing the rod bearings - I sold the car before we did the bearings šŸ™ˆ

The bearings did get done in the end by the future owner - they actually put a video up on YouTube

Unusual for me but having not had the car out for a run after it's MOT I couldn't resist the opportunity of getting out in the Peaks yesterday.

With it being Saturday it was much busier than I'm used too but I still managed to stop and grab a couple of photo's šŸ‘
