Hi Gaz is it still possible to just copy and paste a thread link
So that it only shows the thread name in the link and not all the content of that link as well.
As you can see from my 2 attempts above it is showing way too much detail.
Any help is appreciated as always.

If you use the URL insert which is the chain link icon, you can get it to display like this - or with whatever text you want. This get around ‘URL unfurling” which is what you’re getting.

I am on my phone
I can do it like that and it will work till i work out how to make it look like what you have posted

Is this what you're trying to do? POTM July 26

Write the text you want to show e.g. POTM July 26
Highlight the test as if you are going to copy it
Click on the link (chain) icon
Paste in the URL
Insert

Think i get it will mess around till i get hang of .
Give me some spanners put me in front of a car get on much better with that

I do pretty much everything on the forum on my phone so when new things come along or things dont work a certain way get there eventually

Will mess about thanks guys.



On another subject ( sorry)
I have noticed that a good number of pictures on my phone that used to just post onto forum don't work
Even ones on my camera that i took of the rain tonight had to crop them
Is there a smaller picture size limit now
