I have had a car repairer do work to my car who I hold responsible for these leaks. The roof I had professionally fitted and that came if by said repairer and is now leaking and the boot area is where the majority of the work was undertaken which has resulted in the leak in this area.

Right, another question. Same side - lefthand side of boot and what is this connector that is not connected to anything for? Any ideas, please? The black wire to the righthand side of this group of wiring.

My zeds alarm went off when I was away without it, 3 days apparently so the neighbours, the Police and a letter from the Council tell me.
Battery was flat (no kidding) took it to a specialist beemer garage who started diconnecting the various sensors around the car, there are lots if them but the alarm he said was part of the ecu so couldnt disconnect, never went off again suprisingly but the light still flashed inside.

Has disconnecting all sorts stopped things from working on your Z? And yes, car alarms, barking dogs, etc. all fall under anti-social behaviour. I’m sorry someone reported your car @Dado instead of having a little patirnce while you resolved the problem.

The car behaved exactly as it should, the little red light flashed to show alarm on but with all the sensors and sounder disconected it was never a problem to the neighbours anymore.
It was like it for several years without issue, and then got written off by a foriegn lorry driver so dont know for sure how many years it would have survived like it.
As I was away for 4 days and the alarm was sounding for 3 of them before the battery died I think their patience was stretched a bit too far, and I am pretty sure had I been the one having to listen to it I might well have been looking for a way to disconnect the battery one way or another......
