No, I had not, sadly looks like his season is finished.....
Rossi is currently fourth in the MotoGP standings with six rounds left, sitting 26 points behind leader and compatriot Andrea Dovizioso. The next race is in Misano on September 10.
Could be like Fogarty mate, end of career injury. I'll not forget that crash that finished Carl Fogarty, at least that was during a race, a wet one IIRC.

F1 is kind of like that silly sport American football, you have to get into the tactics to enjoy it IMHO.

Disagree with both of you. Moto GP is F1 on two wheels, same gizmos and driver/rider aids, you just have to be very brave/ completely nuts to do it.
