Hopes of a Dutch Grand Prix returning to the Formula 1 calendar have risen after FIA race director Charlie Whiting said the Zandvoort track needs "minimal" changes to qualify for grand prix racing. The last race held there was in 1985. (Grand PX News)

Nice that they are still (talking) about it @t-tony but this has been going on for a few years now.
It will cost a bunch to get the track up to today's spec though and the funny thing is that over here it does not even get a mention in the news (major papers that is) and don't bother to try and ask anyone outside of Zandvoort !!!
 
Be nice if they did though Mike, have another GP in Europe and ditch one of the fly away races that teams don't really want.

On a side note, I had a "Formula Ford driving day experience" there years ago as a birthday present and the track was in a pretty bad state of repair then, as it gets a right bashing from the Touring Cars.

Track is only just down the road from me as well !!

Scrap that it didn't work! I can see it now, shows your route from Beverwijk to Zandvoot but when you post it it disappears. Weird :wideyed:
