After a month of ownership of a 2.8, I decided that I liked Z3’s so much i decided to go straight for the top of the tree. 2001 S54 Estoril blue with hardtop.
Dropped a post on facebook and sold the 2.8 within a few days.
A few small jobs to sort (hazard switch surround, driver bolster, new gear knob) feel free to get in touch if anyone know where to source parts (BMW is v poor at supporting classics vs Porsche etc from what I can tell).
Have really enjoyed it so far!
There is a pic from Sunday evening, M Roadster 24 hours “old” and just before black 2.8 was driven away by new owner.
The M5 is the responsible family vehicle…
