Hello and thanks for letting me join your forum.
Just bought my first BMW from original owner with 90,000Kms, or roughly 55,000 miles.
Car is in great shape minus shocks and struts, and tires which I have already started changing out.
My question is about CDV(Clutch Delay valve): I am sure my car has it, car is really awkward shifting 1st to 2nd gear and generally awkward at times???.
Wondering if theres a fix for it, as I have just started readying about it.
Any help appreciated greatly.

Hi and welcome, 1st to 2nd on BMW gearboxes was poor back then and is not much better now! However, there are many redeeming factors to Z roadster ownership.

Thanks for the welcome.
And thanks for suggestions.
I did change rear end fluid and that did make a noticeable difference in cutting down noise when going fast, will try changing transmission fluid in the spring, as snow has already started.
Look forward to reading and contributing in the forums.
Thanks Grant
