I’m to become part of this interesting group! I live in Oxford, Michigan, and last fall I came across a beautiful 2002 BMW Z3 for sale not too far from me, and I feel very fortunate that I was able to purchase it. She is nearly perfect, inside and out, with only has 22,000 miles!

This is my first BMW so I’ve been doing a lot of reading up on my car. I came across your group today because I searched on the Internet for information on getting a wind deflector for my car. I’m curious to get some recommendations.

I know I’m going to learn a lot from the BMW owners on this website!

Thanks!
Best,
Cindy

:welcome: From the UK. You have two options for a wind deflector on a car with roll hoops which I assume you have? the factory fabric mesh deflector that fits over the hoops and the aftermarket clear Perspex ones that fit to the back of the hoops, they can effect the operation of the storage box lid, not sure if their available in the US?

Thanks for the info! I have a friend who has a Z4 and he has the mesh type so I’ll look into that option first, He said the BMW dealership ordered it for him, so I’ll call them first. My last convertible had the plexiglass type and it’s OK but I really like the way the mesh one looks.
