No doubt in my mind that Rossi ran Marquez out towards the grass and pushed him off his bike. As to whether it was deserved is irrelevant because cameras are everywhere these days, no way would get away with that. Spoiled a good race for the neutral and with it goes a) some of his reputation and b) probably his last chance for another title ever. Sad.

I don't agree Hugh but each to their own. Also rewind Rossi's early career and he did as bad or worse than Marquez was doing and no-one kicked him off his bike. You can see where he looks down and takes aim to shove in the right place, and as Marquez goes down Rossi's bike moves the other way. Something about action and reaction being equal and opposite. Guilty as charged in my book

Tony.

No argument there Mike, rewind Rossi back to his younger days though he was a total t**t at time too. Sometimes as these riders get older they forget the things they got up to. That's not the point though, the point is Rossi did something stupid and got caught.

Marques leans into Rossi and his head hits his knee Rossi saw him coming and veered away .thats my take on it.He had been doing it for a couple of laps and you could see it was going to end it tears.

Marquez knew if he f***ed up Rossi's race that Rossi would have a slim chance at the title.

Have to agree there Hugh.
“Finally, we actually believe there is fault on both sides.
If that's the case then punish both riders, they didn't, because they don't really see it that way? Rossi already had 1 penalty point, what was that for?

So it's purely a personal thing then? Matt Neale did that to Plato in the touring cars a few years a go after he'd signed for Vauxhall but was still driving a Honda at the end of the season for the same reason.

Have you ever known governing bodies to be straight and fair Damon Hill should of been World Champion twice but for M Schumacer cheating in Melbourne not to mention Aerton Senna and the slip road incident

Too true, Schumacher tried that with Villeneuve too but he was a bit more street wise than our Damon.

Tony.

I have some thoughts on touring cars ,but it's Plato and Neal that have helped the revival of British touring cars
