Looking at a Z4 need advice

Good morning guys and gals,
I used to be active on this site when we owned our 97 z3 2.8. We then moved to a 04 330 ci and sold that when I retired and moved to Colorado. We are looking again and I have my eye on an 08 z4 3.0si auto. Super clean with only 65000 miles on the clock. 16250 is what they are asking. Is the si worth the money? I would like to stay with the 3.0 just for familiarity. I would like some expert opinions

At just over £12,000 (16250) that would be a very expensive 3.0si over here in the UK. Nothing wrong with the 3.0si and as it's the electric water pump it's longer lasting than the awkward to remove 3.0l water pump. I think the auto box of the 3.0si has the paddle shifts and is basically a manual box with electronic controls which some say is less reliable than the older auto transmission. Other than that I don't know of any significant differences.

I know I'm going to get into trouble saying this but have you asked on the Z4 forum.com. Z4s are all they do and there are a load of members on there with the 3.0 Si. Mike.
