Absolutely Epic weekend Andy, very special roads, fantastic views and perfect weather. Thoroughly enjoyed everybody's company too. This was, is and always will be a bucket list trip.

And as for the M6, in my defence . . . Nah, I got nuthin . . .

Most definetly the best routes I've been on in the Dale's and Lakes and great company as well. Epic Andy @andyglym not sure if there's any paint left on the underside of the Zed though Thank you mate, we had a great weekend.

Another great weekend Andy pity we had to bail on Saturday but repairs required to make Sunday happen.
Great seeing everyone.

So the back story for us for those who are reading this we had been down in the Lakes since the Monday scooting around here and there.
Thursday car started making funny noise from wheel had a look saw nothing Friday left Haven we went to Lakeland motor museum all seemed fine
Leaving Lakeland noise back after reverse out of parking
Got to Premier Inn Ulverston had a look again inner pad didn't look right so took decision on Sat morning to miss run that day to sort or swap car so could do the Lakes on Sunday.

So turned out pad friction material had separated from the backing
Ended up fitting pads to see through weekend
Got new discs and pads here which will go on this weekend.

Managed back just before the rest of the group.

Monday Morning we had a 5.30 start to get Lynne to school for 9am

Dry all the way but about 20 miles north of the border suddenly got really cold and foggy a chilly -2 at Abington services

All in all even though we missed the Saturday drive still a great weekend to finish off a great week away in the Lakes.
