What. A. Weekend!!!! The sun shines on the righteous. Clear blue skies for the majority of both days with only a bit of cloud and no rain. A tad chilly when out of the cars. If I do say so myself, both routes were top draw and very different with the Dales being sweepy and curvy undulations and great scenery whilst able to press on a tad. The Lakes being more sedate and dramatic over the various Passes, Kirkstone Pass, Newlands Vally Pass, Honister Pass, Langdale Pass, Wrynose Pass, Hardknott Pass, Corney Fell and the Top Gear road, Biker Fell 🚀

Run 'dramas';

1. Break light bulb for me
2. @Stevo7682 arrived less his front left brakepads leading to a slow drive to get them replaced (mechanics eh 😉)
3. @AleNod leading half of the group North to Scotland at M6 J40 instead of South to J36. In true Top Gear fashion and after plodding along for them to catch up we got overtaken by a Series 1 Land-rover!! Not 'aving that, men down and back on it!!!!
4. @Mark Parrish missing the turn for Langdale Pass (with 4 cars following despite SatNav shouting FFS turn right plonkers!!!), Mark never seen again.
5. Me taking a wrong turn 500 yards from the end leading 7 cars down a dead end street and traumatising an old dear putting her bins out!! 4 thousand point turns.
6. @Nodzed bottoming out and sparking like a F1 car most of both days 🏎
7. Those that failed to get round the tight 180° bend without shunting, shame. Those that succeeded got a round of applause from the waiting Audi Avant driver.

That aside, perfection 🥰

Thanks folks and see you next time.

In the immortal words of Brian Blessed..

At least my liver can have a rest now;)
