I have a dead battery on my 1997 Z3 and when I remove the negative cable the car starts chirping? Is this normal or do I have to reset something first? Any advice would be welcome
Are they a cylinder key, for alarm siren. A small bladed key for the alarm siren or a little key but blade the same size of ignition key made of plastic which is a valet key. Pics would help.
As I stated, if you examine the siren in your engine bay, you will find those keys will fit the alarm. Useful for disabling the siren when required. Lucky you have those as they usually get lost and you can’t buy them no more.
If you stand in front of the car and look into the engine compartment, on the right hand side of the engine near the bulkhead beside brake pipes if I remember correctly. Mine has a rubber cover over the key hole so have a look out for that.
Hope that helps.
