Good morning

I hope everyone is well!

I had booked my 2001 in for an MOT today, it had failed previously on an exhaust leak, and so I had ordered an aftermarket one, but it turns out this doesn't fit, it is for the M44 which now makes sense. I did expect this, but the garage does not seem helpful with getting it to fit.

They have checked and nothing is available with their suppliers so I am on the hunt for something, it seems like its a single piece pipe and I just wanted to check if this was correct, does anyone have any links so I can get something ordered. The garage suggested speaking to BMW but this is going to by my very last resort :D

Thanks in advance

Dan

How much is a genuine BMW rear exhaust? They are bloody expensive I know but they generally last 20 years. The exhaust on my 1994 318ti is the original 😮

E36 Compacts and M44 Z3’s also have a one piece exhaust from the catalytic converter back.
