Sad to hear of the passing of EJ. Like him or not, he will be missed. R.I.P Eddie.

Tony.

A legend of the F1 circuit, spoke his mind - 76 no age either.

RIP Eddie - Buzzin' Hornets

Really sad, you had to admire him for what he achieved with such a limited budget with the Jordan team compared to the big teams.
When Damon Hill signed for Jordan we went down to Silverstone when Team Jordan had an open day. Everyone was so welcoming and were more than happy to explain things.
Heard him talking to Alan Brazil on Talksport a couple of weeks ago he didn’t sound well then and Alan cut the discussion short as Eddie was clearly suffering.
RIP Eddie

Met him at Silverstone, on his team stand. Mate asked him why he had the least attractive models of all the teams in those horrible yellow overalls.

Flamboyant character.

RIP

This replaced "Benson & Hedges" as the PC world started it's takeover. :(
Yep - when certain countries / circuits started banning cig adverts.

RIP
This generation is leaving too early.
Huge shoes for the next in line…

Sad to hear of the passing of EJ.

Sad news indeed.

Hill, who took the team’s debut F1 victory at Spa in 1998, described Jordan as a true legend.

“Eddie was chaotic and a genius all at the same time. He had the energy of 100 men. He created so much joy and had a massive heart. There will only ever be one EJ,” he said.

I liked EJ as a pundit because he said what he thought. I can imagine him and Ecclestone had a few arguments over the years.

RIP Eddie. A pioneer of the modern F1 world.
