Michelin are developing airless tyres. Will they be retreadable?

This is something that Michelin has been working on for a long time is saw a Michelin video from around 10 years ago with an Audi A4 fitted with the prototype version of this type of airless tyre it was more bulky in design had a lattice spoke designed to support the car.

I remember seeing that, about these new tyres - didnt expect it to go to production though. Was it really around 10 years ago ???

First shown in 2005 so even longer than 10 yrs
Had these years ago when I was still at school. Length of garden hose in the tyres of my Carlton racing bike
