Anyone bothered to fit anything?

Im thinking I need to explore options as being low down and blending into the background I'm at a higher risk of some Magoo pulling out on me. Happened twice now and it's obvious they never saw me coming. No drama on the 30mph but higher speed roads im not keen on bending the car or me.

Better late than never, it has taken me ages to find the variations on my search for drl's i have fitted. Picture one are by Zedonist, fitted to original headlights using heat gun to open them up. They are really good but read the instructions thoroughly, which i didn't so mounted them wrongly and should have used new sealer on when I put the lights back together., only problem was that the adjusters didn't work so 2xcite black units fitted, picture 2, as a matter of urgency for 2025 MOT. Picture 3 is chrome 2xcite units I fitted in 2023 but too blingy for me. Each incarnation I chickened out and only wired them via side lights so they only come on when i switch the sidelights on.

I guess most people rarely use the fog lights, so changing the bulbs for LED’s and a constant live would be a cheap and easy option to get DRL’s

I've tinted my fog lights retro yellow and use them occasionally as DRLs..totally against the law but hey ho..
Definitely need something but not keen on altering the car much from factory spec.

I did look at adding Aftermarket lighting but fitting is limited. A winter project to ponder i feel.

@Mint has a great set fitted on one of his zeds, hopefully he will jump on and give some info

My 1.9 doesn't have fog lights just blanking plates, I have fitted various led DRL's into those over the years but all eventually fail from water ingress and have to be replaced. Currently I don't have any fitted, got fed up having to keep changing them.

I have fitted some Angel Eye LEDs to the side of my fog lights. As @Nodzed says a great addition but also as @colb says they do suffer from water ingress although tbh I've only had to change one in a good few years. I've wired them via a box which switches them on with the ignition but turns them off when I switch on the lights.
Sorry, still cant load any photos from my PC.

Just throwing it out there...anything aftermarket going on the exterior i look at what motorbike kit have to offer, always good for waterproofing.
My dashcam is a motorbike one, purely for it's size, pretty hidden and ok to leave with the roof down.
Still pondering on DRLs.......
