Water in footwells E85 Z4 & Seat Removal

Hi, I've not heard that Z4's have any issues regarding water ingress into the front foot wells and if it had been there long I would've expected it to have "soaked" through to the under seat area at least. My best guess would be wet carpet valeting. You might be able to smell cleaning fluid on the carpet ?

Yeah I think it must just be overly-keen cleaning. It doesn't particularly smell like carpet shampoo, but at the same time it also doesn't smell damp/musty or like it's been wet for a long time. Think I might buy it...
