Is redline mtl good for the 5 speed ZF transmissions?

For my ZF S5D 320 Z (Z3 2.8 and M gearbox) I used Redline D4 ATF which is what everyone (pretty much) recommends

I know it seems counterintuitive to use ATF but that is what they used from factory I'm pretty sure

I had the mtf label on my trans though.

@Smudgemanuk is right if you have the
Mtf lt1 or lt2 box is designed for a specialist lighter weight oil.
