Sorry if I missed your birthday from the 5th January
I was in hospital for 9 days 🥲
I think most people will know about my rare condition called CVS ( cyclic vomiting syndrome ) 🥲
As you can imagine it isn’t very nice to have , if a ambulance isn’t called within 3-4 hours I go down very quickly and it much harder to recover.
Ambulances were taking 21 hours to get to the patients and then there was a 24 hours wait to been seen .
But I’ve got a letter from my consultant stating that I take priority, so I had a ambulance within 1.15 mins , I couldn’t go to my local hospital because off the long wait , so I was taking to a different hospital which is 27 miles away.
But my family were just glad I got the treatment I needed

Oh dear Shelley, you were lucky you got priority and the treatment you needed. A sad state with the NHS. Are you recovered or is it a slow process, who looked after Alan while you were in? Bit of a rough time you are having what with Christmas period events. Still I guess the hospital looked after you well, you need to look after yourself now. Stay warm.

Your health is far more important than a birthday wish, I have stopped having them since I turned 70 anyway. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Oh dear Shelley, you were lucky you got priority and the treatment you needed. A sad state with the NHS, I've just come out a few days ago after having a heart attack, luckily the ambulance was here in 15 mins and the theatre and staff were actually ready and waiting when I got there. Are you recovered or is it a slow process, who looked after Alan while you were in? Bit of a rough time you are having what with Christmas period events. Still I guess the hospital looked after you well, you need to look after yourself now. Stay warm.

My goodness, I really hope your on your way to recovery, it must of been awful for you and your family.
Really hope you get all the treatment you need.

Alan had meals round my sons and daughters and also some takeouts .
He does very well, Alan took the first week off work, so he could be with me , even though I was too ill to talk .
