'Quickfit' hello

Afternoon all. I was unfortunate enough to get a nail in my tyre whilst on a mini break near Ayr in Scotland. Popped into a quickfit to get a repair done and that was where I was directed to this forum, So I thought I would check it out.

I'm new to the z4's. Only owned my 2003 2.5 for a few months but have enjoyed it so far. I've done alot of mechanical bits to it to get it back to being roadworthy again. Just getting stuck in and learning as I go. Ive took it on a few roadtrips already and i love an excuse for a good drive out. I'm based in Gateshead.

Thanks for the welcome . That was from my previous mini tour/day trip when i stayed down near newton Stewart. The ferry was heading to the Isle of bute from the mainland. Before looping back round and coming back down through loch lomond. Great day of driving

@smythy Hi yes it was me you were talking to today.
No i am not a moderator on here but i do the Picture of the Month thread every month i also with help from @ExMX5owner Shawn and i do the official Zroadster.org Calendar he does the cutting and editing i do distribution.
I also do either 2 or 3 official Zroadster Scottish runs a year these are usually weekend outings
Details of next years run will be available in the Forthcoming events section ( i usually post up around Christmas although there may be an early announcement on the Summer run as maybe going to do something a bit different)
If you look in the events write up section you will see the sort of stuff we do.

Hi. Thanks for advising me to join. I'm on a few facebook z4 owners pages but after having a quick browse on here, there seems to be a canny selection of useful info, parts, member runs ect

I will keep an eye out on the events page. Maybe see you on one

They are all a great bunch on here and yes as you've said there's quite a lot goes on obviously less so this time of year but good number of stuff goes on in summer .
Hopefully see your zed in as a Picture of the Month entry at some point.

Since your on here quick question related to talking to you about your roof colour.
Have you ever did a vin decode on it
That will show you the car spec and options fitted at factory.
