Hi,

I bought my 16 year old a 2002 Z3 Roadster (2.5) (100K) for his birthday... it's all stock and we have started buying small things (coolant parts, belts, etc.) to keep it on the road and running smoothly. He loves the car and we put the snow tires on last week after we changed the oil - mild winter here so far but he is doing great and anxious for warmer weather. Looking forward to engaging with the group on behalf of my boy.

Thanks -

Sean

Just north of Salt Lake City - we don't get much snow but I'm close to the Wasatch Front, so we can see it and drive to it if we want. Less than 1" this year so far. But I put snow tires on his car, just in case (as I do with my daughter and her Mini).

Nice area to be - Farmington/ Syracuse sort of area, or further towards Ogden ? Had many trips over in UT, for the white gold - we really love the Wasatch

Sensible idea about the winter tyres , having experienced conditions there when they arent good

Welcome Sean! Sounds like a fantastic first car for him, and great to hear you’re keeping it in tip-top shape. I’m sure he’s going to have a lot of fun with it this spring!
