I have a 1998M roadster And I love everything about it. I am totally satisfied with the exhaust however the four tips sticking out just look like they are almost 30 years old. I am trying to find somebody who makes relatively inexpensive tips that would slip over the current tips just to improve the looks. I don’t want to weld or unweld or do anything like that, just slip something over them for appearance. There are a lot of exhaust tips made but there is only a certain amount of room between the two tips on each side and that’s what concerns me. Has anyone put exhaust tips on the standard BWM M roadster exhaust? Thanks. Stay safe drive carefully

Never seen anyone do that apart from some AC Schnitzer DTM https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?2070707-FS-AC-Schnitzer-DTM-Exhaust-Tips which are rare items to source. I would measure the outside diameter of your tips and have a search for more common E36 M3 ones. This seller advertises fittment for the ///M https://ebay.us/m/EK5F8Z
Actually I installed the Z3M Performance Axle Back Exhaust from ECS tuning and oh wow wow wow. Perfect sound, quicker, tailpipes look fabulous. I can not recommend the ECS unit with the tailpipe enough. the best thing I have ever done to the car.
