Err…what this silver bag around, I assume, a Z? Why?!? Off topic and I apologise but what is this?!?
Inflateable car cover. Stops the fabric rubbing the paintwork. Not sure what that one is. Some of them have climate control, ie dry air circulating.

No idea how behave in a storm.

Thanks for this description @Duncodin
What happens if the fabric rubs the paint work? Would the paint bubble being protected?

A Z3. To keep it on my driveway, no longer having the garage it lived in for many years.
How so? The thread is entitled 'JUNE 2025 P.O.T.M' on the zroadster.org forum. Photography is an art form that captures images, often open to interpretation by the viewer as well as the creator.
No requirement to apologise. It is an entry in the aforementioned thread and captures an unusual image of an original owner 1998 Z3 2.8 (not a wide body, pre facelift or any other incorrect nomenclature that has evolved since the168th 2.8 ordered in the UK was taken ownership of) being kept in exceptional condition by means of a CarCoon as employed by countless car owners who cherish their vehicle.
