how to use resister to delete passenger air bag fault

can any one help. had to take passenger seat out as drive not working but seat wiring was so bad not repairable so now have air bag light on all time is it poss to put a resister in to deletepassenger side z3 2.8 2000 many thanks taz

My son is in the process of doing this to his Subaru.

He has cut the plug off his seat and will be soldering a 3.3 Ohm resitor in series.

This resistance is the common resistance used on many cars. I don't know if it's the correct value for Z3.

yeah sounds like what i need to do. ive had a look at getting a second hand seat so many variations not worth the cost.
