How hot today

Our 10 day forecast is for triple digits again, the lowest will only get to 100° F. 102 and 103 the other 9 days. We had a front come through dropping rain and temps into mid to high 90s. I took advantage and got in some cycling, but I'm not likely to do much more for ax
while...and August is the hottest month of the summer.

Wehave had 101-107° daysfor amonth and the next 10 days will continue with the same. I'm looming forward tp mid september , when it will only be in the 90s...

Gosh! That’s terribly high! I read that parts of the US have 117! And Washington is suffering awful fires. Do take care.

I guess they are used to the higher temperatures in Texas and have the infrastructure/take is in their stride. Not like the winging poms!!:)
 
Got up to 36.2 here in Stafford today. A cool[ish] 25 inside the house though.

The school has large AC units that keepbthe classrooms cool. The students are allowed out for recess but on those days with high heat indexes they keep them inside. These kids are pretty well acclimated to 100° + weather. July and August are that hot every year. This is the first time in 17 years I've seen 2 months straight of days over 102 °.

That is global warming in the rest of the world. In the US it seems not to be happening, according to your leader! 35c (95f) here today in Eastern England. For the fifth time this year. It NEVER gets that hot here, let alone five times in one year.

Our average July and August temperatures were around 23c until this year.
 
I like global warming. The UK is as good as anywhere in the world if the temperature is above 25 degrees C in the summer. :)
 
Out by 7am on the bike, north to Hawes, Penrith, Ullswater Windermere temp was steady 24 which wasn't so bad.
M6 south at Preston tho..temp hit 36, like walking into an oven...which is nice sat on top of the engine!
