It might seem harsh but I guess they’re looking at the potential for harm if there’s something more sinister going on.
Going to have to temper the boozing too. On the positive viewpoint, you’re nudge sounds a little kinder than most. You’ve got away lightly.

Yeah sad about the ban but at least you're okay. If it's any consolation when I was in my thirties I blacked out at 6:00am on a Sunday whilst having a wee, very similar to Sean d's experience. Stupidly I didn't go to A&E due to a work colleague having had a 3 month ban due to blacking out at a set of traffic lights. Fortunately I haven't had any reoccurrence and I'm now 68.
