I only saw a part of it but they didn't seem too clued up. Using spring compressors to change the rear springs when all you need to do is release the drop links and shocks and they slip in and out.

He looked well dodgy to me… bet it wasn’t even his house 😙😉
I bet the real owner was well peed off at him for selling sports seats that cheaply

Don't know who it was, but I want really good sports seats, PLUS door cards PLUS a FULL set of alloy wheels for that price! Where can I purchase?
Standard TV prices vs the reality not quite the same. SpursFan should of been doing that little stint on TV but he stitched me up at the last minute, why I was in a shirt I just finished work.

3 litre Z3 pretending to be Italian exotica. Two previous E89 Z4s.
Not seen this episode, as one was enough (Citroen BX GTi).
Utter 'for TV' fake rubbish. The one episode I managed to watch was full of inconsistencies, edited poorly and just made up crap. And the two posh twats got on my nerves after 5 minutes.

At least the Americans do these 'for TV fake' car shows with a bit of class, even if they are as real as an average Facebook video.

That’s quite an old episode though. Out of interest though @Lee how did this all happen getting evolved with the episode?
I'm friends with some of the Wheeler dealer lot. The main film company owns all these car shows. Lot of cool things go on behind the scenes makes great pub talk.

I only saw the very end of the show. I was looking what was on tv and saw 'Z3' so I put it on to see how it looked at the end. Must say, I don't think much of the show. I watched one some time ago and that was enough.

I enjoyed the Z3 episode and it looked like a decent car they turned out. I then went on to watch a few more the Porsche 924 and MGB GT were dire the rattle can paint finishes were awful, a ten year old could do better.

We have to take all of these programs with a pinch of salt. They're edited - a lot. One thing that grinds my gears is when Mike whats-is-face off of wheeler dealers brags about having made a grand in profit but then they don't actually cost up the many hours of labour. I'm also not sure about some of their 'fixes'. One episode they had a Z3 and (I think it was Ed) was strengthening the rear chassis cross member. But to do that he just welded plates over the old cross member to build a double skinned box section that would, in my mind at least, just create a nice double skin for moisture to sit and rust away merrily. Maybe that's really how it's done?

Car SOS is another. That bloke who goes off somewhere to get parts and make a show of blagging himself a bunch of freebies. I like seeing the custom parts being built but I have to fast forward through the 'blaggy' bits. Although I didn't mind the Porsche 365 episode. That musta cost a fortune to restore - I'm sure the family saw pound signs and popped that into an auction as soon as the tv crew had packed up and gone home.

Talking of auctions - Bangers and Cash - Restoring Classics. I can watch that. Bit of banter going on and, when they're done, they make a huge loss. Ohh Man!

I can watch those and the Bangers & Cash normal programs. At least they are real. Admittedly, good old multi-millionaire Derek going on about how all these £20k cars are so cheap does get on my wick a bit.

My sister works for a company that make specialist parts for the classic car industry, based in Oxfordshire. The owner of the company is a good friend of Edd China. Apparently he is a really nice bloke and knows his stuff.
