Imo, they're crap.

I had them on the back of my F31 Touring and one developed a knocking noise. Off the car it seemed fine but once replaced with proper Sachs dampers, the noise has gone.

Last week a mate with an E36 had the same problem after only 3000 miles. Knocking over bumps solved by fitting Boge Sachs units. In both cases it was a rear damper that failed. Actual proper Bilsteins (the yellow ones) are very good but I'm not a fan of B4's.

Actual budget stuff is hit and miss. The Chinese eBay specials are alrightish for a banger but they rust quickly and by Christ they're harsh. Euro Car Prats budget Anschler units are okayish and GSF are discontinuing their budget Amtex range.

Boge/Sachs as fitted originally are my choice now - they're not cheap but you know what you're getting. 100,000 miles hopefully.
