Hi everybody. Can anyone identify for me the air bag connector under the seat please. I've just sorted the moving seats problem but now I've put everything back I've got the air bag light on. I've tried erasing it but it just comes back on. A picture of the connector would be useful if anybody has one. I did find a yellow connector under both seats and can't recall if I disconnected them when I took the seats out but I couldn't find any where that they plugged into so now wondering if I missed something.

Thanks.

From my - admittedly limited - experience, the airbag (actually seatbelt pretensioner in this case) connectors are yellow. Trace the cable back from the pretensioner (black cylinder co-located with the seatbelt buckle). It's usually routed under the seat cover to keep it away from the adjustment mechanisms and pops out at the back of the seat.

Re: a picture, there are at least three different types of connector used that I have seen just from pre-facelift Z3s.

If it's plugged in and you're still getting the light come on, check none of the wires have been cut/damaged and then I'd get the codes read for more info about what's triggering the light if it's connected and the wires look OK

Hi,thanks for that. Would that be the little yellow connector (that pops out at the back of the seat at the bottom), that plugs into a pinky/red female connector attached to the main loom that comes up through the carpet?

Would love a picture of how that looks like. Can it be accessed without removing the carpet or the seat?
