The XKR-S is massively overpriced.
I am toying with the idea of buying an XKR-S (coupe though). They can be had for almost £20k less than the one in the article. I do like that red, though.

There is one deluded person selling a (very low mileage) XKR-S privately. He is trying to get £90k for it. It is 13 years old! Obviously doesn't understand the meaning of depreciation.

The best car I ever owned was a 2007 XK 60 convertible, humble 4.2 engine but wow what a car the V8 rumble was glorious, so good I think I only managed around 10mpg as I couldn’t resist holding every gear just to hear the sound. Sadly it was lost in the New Years Eve 2017 Liverpool car park fire along with 1399 other cars. If the R-S floats your boat Pond go for it, even the 4.2 or 5.0 coupes are sublime, proper British GT’s , my 2 911’s and Boxster S were sterile in comparison.
