It amazes me how they fit their massive balls inside their leathers. I have a couple of friends who are circuit racers and that's dangerous enough, never mind the open road. An old rider once told me the deaths are the price the circuit charges for allowing the event to continue - superstition maybe, but I could tell he believed it. Respect to them all, and RIP Mark
So it wasn't the only one unfortunately. Today a sidecar passenger lost his life after a crash on the 1st of a 3 lap race. This was just after Peter Hickman had won the Superbike race. I have always enjoyed and been amazed by the Outfits racing and huge respect to the sidecar passengers.
These guys are just on another level of commitment to the rest of mankind if you ask me. TT is the pinnacle of what it means to "Go racing" way above and beyond any other motorsport on the planet. Whilst endeavouring to make it as safe as possible the participants except little or no compromise when it comes to ensuring that the purity of the original event is maintained. Deepest respect to them all and their other halves.
A very sad year ... father and son OMG what must this family be going thru; 21 year old newcomer raced on Monday as well and came 8th .. on the second or 2 laps ...
